What makes a person step into a spiritual quest?

Myra Estelle began her quest over thirty years ago to find out why there’s still so much pain and suffering in the world.

At that time she was working as an architect, the principal of a small design firm, and teaching in a college in New York City. But as her concern about the many humanitarian struggles continued to arouse her curiosity, she felt the need to investigate these problems in a deeper way.

She started to explore a life-affirming meditation practice, and then made a commitment to study the psychological and spiritual aspects of our human consciousness. Over time, her conscious awareness gradually expanded, and she came to realize something we all need to know—every one of us has an amazing capacity, within our own self, to expand the depth of our own consciousness, and so be able to increase our own understanding of life.

During the months and years that followed, she found that there is an amazing matrix of awareness hidden deep within the way the world works for all of us. She discovered that the universe can always open a portal of our mind and invite each of us into this greater expanse of consciousness. The inspiration and opportunities that came into her life through this investigation made her realize that she had uncovered a supportive inner process within herself. She became intrigued and followed through to discover more details about it.

Her research and study, of writings by ancient sages and teachers in the present day, together with her ongoing meditation practice, all helped to reinforce and expand her understanding of life. She realized that coming into this kind of awareness could possibly be at the center of what many people consider to be a religious experience.

Through Myra’s quest beneath the surface of our everyday existence, she became aware that there’s a really profound reason for each individual to be here on earth—that we’re all gradually being drawn into a genuine, respectful, and compassionate awakening of a beautiful love that’s usually concealed deep within every one of us.

We can find that if we really want to become part of a supportive process to create peace in the world, it can only begin from this loving, peaceful place within our own heart.

Simply by living our life we’re all on an amazing journey of self-discovery, as we learn how to nurture our soul’s existence, and realize more about ourselves each day. When we each take on this introspective journey we can learn more about our own inner process, and so can come to discover that the solution to any of our problems is simply hidden within our own conscious awareness.

Myra writes books and teaches classes on how to experience inner peace for yourself, to learn how to enhance more fulfilling relationships in your life. She teaches and inspires people in colleges and religious organizations in the US. She also coaches privately.

Born in London, England, graduate of Pratt Institute School of Architecture in New York, Myra now lives in New York, and is the mother of two sons.

Many years ago I found myself drawn into an introspective quest to learn more about this supportive process. As my intuition has always been my greatest friend, like a home base within me that I can go to in times of uncertainty, it was quite easy for me to reach into a calm, peaceful place inside of myself, and begin to look more deeply into my own inner experience. I began to meditate every day, and found over time that this deep meditation had a way of lifting my mind into a loving, inner experience of peace. I gained insight through awareness of a supportive conscious energy that provided inner strength and made me feel reassured. I became convinced that awareness of this kind has been at the center of most religious experiences.
